DOES QUEEN KING ACE COUNT RUN CRIBBAGE PLUS
TWO DOUBLE RUNS ( 1 point per card x 4 (12 points ) plus two pair (4 points): 16 points The combined total (not including any 15's) is fifteen points. One point is awarded for each of the three runs of three (9 points), and two points for each of the three pairs (6 points). Triple run occurs when there is three of a kind in a run of three. TRIPLE RUN ( 1 point per card x 3 (9 points) and three sets of pairs (6 points): 15 points Same as above with 4 cards in each run equals 10 points. Points are given for each run of three (3x2=6) and the pair for a combined 8 points.ĭOUBLE RUN OF FOUR CARDS ( 1 point per run of 4 (8 points) plus a pair (2 points): 10 points One point is awarded for each card in a run of three or more.ĭOUBLE RUN ( 1 point per run of 3 (six points) and a pair (2 points): 8 pointsĪ pair that's anywhere in a run of three or more is a double run. Three of a kind = 6 points (equals three combinations of pairs (2 points x 3 = 6 points)įour of a kind = 12 points (equals six combinations of pairs (2 points x 6 = 12 points) ( example: If a player has one 9 and two 6's in their hand they get four points for each 15 (9 + 6 = 15 x 2). Points are awarded for any and all combinations of 15's, pairs and runs of three or more. Both players count points in their hands after the pegging round. Points in the hand are calculated using all combinations of the four cards you're dealt and the cut card. For example, if a a card equals 31 and is also a pair they get 4 points (2 for the pair and two for 31). The final card played in the pegging round - 1 point (if a player's last card equals 15 or 31 the player gets 2 pointsĪ player can count points for any of the above combinations. Is the last card played (that's less than 31) - 1 point Is a combined total of fifteen (15) - 2 points "GO's" and last card played are worth 1 point. Three of a kind equal the sum of all pair combinations, so triples are worth 6 and 4 of the same card are worth 12 points. Runs of three are worth 3 points, runs of 4 four points, etc. Points are also awarded for getting a total of "15" and 31". This process continues until both players are out of cards.ĭuring the pegging round points are counted and pegged for getting pairs, 3 of a king, 4 of a kind, and runs of three or more cards. If a card is played that totals 31 then that player gets two points and the count starts again at "0". When neither player can play a card that's 31 or less, the last player to have played a card gets a "GO" and pegs one point and the count starts again at "0". This process continues until a total of 31 is reached, or neither player can play a card that is 31 or less.

For example, player one plays a king and player two plays a 7 - player two says "17". The dealer then plays a card and says the total of the two. So if a King is played the say 10, or if a 7 is played they say 7). Face cards (jack, queen king) count as 10 and Aces count as 1. To start the pegging round the player opposite the dealer plays a card by placing it in front of them face side showing.
